• Studies on different mulberry diseases in Tamil Nadu.

Important findings

Leaf spot in rainy season and tukra in summer are the important diseases in Tamil Nadu followed by bacterial blight in rainy season, violet and white root rot and powdery mildew in winter. Tukra is comparatively more severe on MR2 variety followed by Local andK2mulberry varieties.
