Objectives

• To develop a target specific eco-friendly biodegradable formulation for management of root knot disease in mulberry.

Important findings

 For developing the bio-nematicide against root knot nematode, five formulations were prepared using botanicals and chemicals in different ratios and tested for control of nematode. A formulation having 75% herbals & 25% chemicals controlled disease up to 85% was tested along with recommended methods for confirmation of results. A formulation Nemahari has been developed for effective management of root rot disease.
