Objectives

  • In vitro and in vivo screening of Brassica cultivars for their biofumigation potential against root rot disease of mulberry.

8.

Important findings

Out of 10 Brassica plants tested, Brassica juncea, Raphanus sativus and mustard oil cake were found effective to suppress the growth of pathogens causing root knot and root rot diseases under in vitro and green house conditions.
