Important findings

Among the eight chemical treatments, Bavistin (50% WP), Captaf (5% EC) and Baycor (25% WP) at 0.05% concentration has given encouraging results and can be used as a post harvest spray to minimize the severity of the leaf spot disease by reducing the initial inoculum. Urea was also found at par with Bavistin, it can also be sprayed at 5%.
