Important findings Glomus mossaeandG.fasciculatumwere efficient in mobilizing P for mulberry. The root and soil based inoculum should be applied at 100 kg/acre of established garden. The best method for secondary level multiplication of the fungus is on ragi roots in nursery. 50% of super phosphate can be replaced with rock phosphate in association with VAM application. In combination with ‘Seri-Phos’ or ‘Seri-Multiphos’ 25% of P application can be curtailed to save money. |
